Belmont Distillery Farm

Discover the Time-Honored Craftsmanship of Belmont Farm Distillery

For over four centuries, the hills of Virginia have been home to the production of fresh, high-quality whiskey. Now, for the past 30 years, Belmont Farm Distillery has made this once elusive drink available to all.

Unlike other distilleries that use column stills to produce their whiskey, Belmont Farm uses a genuine solid copper pot still. Our slow, careful process preserves all the aroma and flavor of a fine fresh whiskey. Our copper pot still is the secret to the quality of our whiskey.

At Belmont Farm Distillery, we take pride in our family-owned and operated operation. We grow our own corn, harvest it, store it, and grind it in preparation for our whiskey. We add only the finest malt to our corn meal, which is cooked in our stainless steel cooker. Our unique yeast preparation is carefully stirred and monitored in our stainless steel yeast tank. We follow a special family recipe to cook the corn mash. After four days of fermentation in copper tanks, the mash is distilled in our 3000-gallon copper pot still, which was constructed in 1933. Our whiskey then proceeds to the doubler, where it is further distilled to increase proof and ensure a high-quality product. Once the whiskey is bottled, it's prepared for shipment.
